MPDisplay++ is a WCF server/client based display solution for MediaPortal. With MPDisplay++ you can display any Mediaportal information from your HTPC to any other attached screen's or any PC's anywhere.
MPDisplay++ has an independent skin engine so you can customize the way you want it. MPDisplay++ is basically a second GUI for MediaPortal.
You can connect as many MPDisplay++ UI's to the plugin as you want.

Hey together,

on 3rd of February I released the new Titan Skin for MPDisplay++ as you may have seen in MediaPortal Forums.
With this new Release I also updated some Skinfiles for the Avalon Skin.
BUT... Today I have seen that I put some wrong files into the installer and there is a Patch available now to correct this issue.

UPDATE:
There were also some changes in MediaPortal 1.3RC Titan Skin within the MovingPictures Plugin. I have updated the MPD++ files within a small patch. .: Download :.

Release of Version v0.9.0.0

Finally we arranged to publish the new Release of MPDisplay++ in Version 0.9.0.0.

Now we are at the stage of the first BETA- Release.
Many changes were made, as major Bugfixes and adding some new features as follows:

  • The Plugin has been completely rewritten to make use of 3D- Positioning and 3D Animation.
  • We are going deeper into MP Skins… It’s possible now, to focus Controls, when a special Control in MP is focused.
  • EPG- Support has been removed. For full functionality we need a TV- Server Plugin for MPD++. This will  be available in Version 0.9.5.0
  • more than only one listcontrol possible within one Window
  • MPD++ can be used without MP started. Add it to your Autostart- folder to see it directly after start of your HTPC.
  • Skins have to be completely rewritten.
  • and some more stuff under the hood…
Due to many changes, we are able only to release this version with the default and Avalon Skin. StreamedMP will follow within the next day's.
